The Walking Dead: 400 Days

Gameplay

The Walking Dead (also known as The Walking Dead: The Game[5] and The Walking Dead: Season One[6]) is an episodic graphic adventurebased on Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead comic book series. The game was developed by Telltale Games and was initially slated for release in the last months of 2011, but was held back until early 2012 to allow further time for development. The game consists of five episodes, released between April and November 2012. Telltale has also published retail versions of the complete game. Currently the game is available for Xbox 360,PlayStation 3, Microsoft Windows, iOS, OS X and PlayStation Vita system, and an Ouya version is planned for release in early 2014.
The game takes place in the same fictional world as the comic, with events occurring shortly after the onset of the zombie apocalypse in Georgia. However, most of the characters are original to the game, which centers on university professor and convicted murderer Lee Everett, who helps to rescue and subsequently care for a young girl named Clementine. Kirkman provided oversight for the game's story to ensure it corresponded to the tone of the comic, but allowed Telltale to handle the bulk of the developmental work and story specifics. Three characters from the original comic book series make in-game appearances; Hershel Greene, Shawn Greene and Glenn.
Unlike many graphic adventure games, The Walking Dead does not emphasize puzzle solving, but instead focuses on story and character development. The story is affected by both the dialogue choices of the player and their actions during quick time events, which can often lead to, for example, certain characters being killed, or an adverse change in the disposition of a certain character or characters towards Lee. The choices made by the player carry over from episode to episode. Choices were also tracked by Telltale, and used to influence their writing in later episodes.
The Walking Dead has been critically acclaimed, with reviewers praising the harsh emotional tone of the story and the emphatic connection established between Lee and Clementine. The game has won over 80 "Game of the Year" awards, including awards from USA Today,GamesRadar, E! Online, and the Spike Video Game Awards. More than one million unique players have purchased at least one episode from the series, with over 8.5 million individual episodes sold by the end of 2012, and its success has been seen as constituting a revitalization of the weakened adventure game genre. In July 2013, Telltale released an additional downloadable episode, 400 Days, to extend the first season and bridge the gap towards the planned second season.

ARMA 3

ARMA 3 (stylized as ARMA III) is an open world tactical shooter video game being developed by Bohemia Interactive for Microsoft Windows. It is scheduled to be released on September 12, 2013.[4] ARMA 3's storyline takes place in the mid-2030s during the fictional Operation Magnitude, a military operation launched by NATO forces fighting in Europe against "Eastern armies" led by a resurgent Iran.
ARMA 3 is set in the near-future during the mid-2030s, where NATO forces deployed in the Greek islands of the Aegean Sea are trying to hold off a massive Iranian military offensive from the east. During the singleplayer campaign, the player will take the role of a British Special Forces soldier, Captain Scott Miller. Initially, the player must survive on their own after friendly forces are defeated in a failed NATO operation. During the campaign, the player will face everything from lone wolf infiltration missions to the commanding of large scale armored operations. The player will be able to choose different objectives and weaponry (such as UAVs, artillery, and air support) according to their play style.[6][7][8]
ARMA 3 takes place on the Aegean islands of Altis (formerly Lemnos[9]) and Stratis of Greece, in the Mediterranean Sea. They will feature photo-realistic terrain and water environments. Altis will be the largest official terrain in the Arma series with ground area covering approximately 270 km². The smaller island, Stratis, will expand over an area of 20 km².[10] The islands will feature over 50 villages with buildings that are both enterable and destroyable.

Teenage mutant ninja turtles out shadows

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (often shortened to TMNT or Ninja Turtles or just Turtles) are a fictional team of four teenageanthropomorphic turtles, who were trained by their anthropomorphic rat sensei in the art of ninjutsu and named after four Renaissance artists. From their home in the storm sewers of New York City, they battle petty criminals, evil overlords and alien invaders, all while remaining isolated from society-at-large.
The characters appeared in comic books before their expansion to cartoons, video games, films, toys and other general merchandise.[2] During the peak of its popularity in the late 1980s through early 1990s, the franchise gained considerable worldwide success and fame.

dayz standalone

DayZ is an upcoming multiplayer open world survival horror video game in development by Bohemia Interactive and the stand-alone version of the award-winning mod of the same name. The game is set to release on PC for Microsoft Windows via digital distribution platform Steam, and is currently in closed testing.[1]
The game places the player in the fictional post-Soviet state of Chernarus, where an unknown virus has turned most of the population into undead, violent zombies. As a survivor with limited supplies, the player must scavenge the world for food, water, weapons, and medicine, while killing or avoiding zombies, and killing, avoiding or co-opting other players in an effort to survive the zombie apocalypse.
The goal of the game is to stay alive in the conditions of zombie apocalypse. The player will have to scavenge supplies from around the 225 km.2 map,[2] including food, water, medicine, and clothing, which will be found in locations such as houses, barns, and abandoned vehicles.[3] Various weapons will also be present, allowing players to protect themselves from zombies or other players if found.
The player's character will have to look after their health by, for example, eating a healthy enough diet; Dean Hall having said that he isn't happy with the way that players can eat as much as they want at a time with no side effects in the mod.[4] A range of diseases will also be a threat to the player, requiring them to have access to medicine if needed,[5] with diseases including cholera, dysentery, and hepatitis, caught from sources such as dirty water.[6]
One of the key areas explored by the game is player-player interaction. The standalone game will build on the text and close range voice chat of the mod version by including a new whisper channel, which will allow players to communicate over a very short distance without players nearby hearing, as well as radios (based off the "A.C.R.E" mod for ARMA 2), which will allow longer range communication, including the possibility of encrypted two-way radios and player run radio stations.[4][6][7] Players will also be able to force others to kneel in order to steal their items.[8]
Players will be able to build bases in the world in which they can keep their items safe, with the possibility of security systems and programmable computers having been mentioned.[9] Related to this is that when players clear an area of zombies within the game, such as around a town, further zombies will not respawn within that area, though others may wander back in, providing a safer area for some time.

Dragon Commander

Dragon Commander is a turn-based and real time strategy role playing video game developed by Larian Studios as part of the Divinityseries of fantasy role-playing games. The game features a hybrid of gameplay styles and has single-player, competitive multi-player, and co-operative multi-player modes.
The gameplay of Dragon Commander is broken up into three phases which affect each other. The first phase has gameplay in the style of an RPG, and has been compared to Mass Effect, where the player has conversations with multiple non-player characters and makes decisions which affect the story and the gameplay in the other two phases. In this RPG phase, the player can research abilities, influence factions, and receive cards which can be traded in for special effects in the other two phases.
The second phase of the game is in the style of a turn-based strategy game, based on board games like Risk, and designed first as a board game while the game was still in development. In this mode, the player can use cards earned in the RPG phase to affect their own territories and units or those of their enemies. The player can also construct one building per territory, and recruit and move units. Once the units of two opposing sides meet, the player can play cards which take affect only for that battle, and can choose whether to automatically resolve the battle, or choose to fight themselves. The player can only fight in one battle per 'round' (a full set of the three phases).
The third phase of the game takes place once a battle is joined and is in the style of a real-time strategy game. The player constructs buildings and recruits units from the population pool of the region where the battle takes place. All construction and recruitment is done through units of recruits, which increase at a slow rate until the area's population is depleted. A player can increase the rate of recruitment by capturing and building more recruitment stations. Aside from the traditional point-and-click based style of control, the player can also take the form of a dragon in battle and aid their units in both offense and defense, at the cost of sacrificing some control over their units while in dragon form.
