Devil May Cry 4

Devil May Cry 4 is an action-adventure hack and slash video game that was published and developed by Capcom in 2008 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows platforms. The game is the fourth installment to the Devil May Cry series. It later on generated a handheld version released on iOS, titled Devil May Cry 4: Refrain. Unlike the previous title, Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening, this game is a sequel to the first two Devil May Cry games.[1]
The story follows Nero, a teenager posssessing demonic powers who is on a mission to stop the series' main character, Dante, after he assassinates demons from the The Order of the Sword including its leader. During the game, the player controls both Nero and Dante as they fight enemies in close combat using firearms, swords, and other weapons. As the first Devil May Cry released for multiple consoles at the same time, during its development Capcom was focused in all versions having the same visual quality.
Critical reception to Devil May Cry 4 has been positive with praise aimed towards its challenging difficulty and the characters' special moves. However, it has been criticized for its backtracking and a troublesome camera. The game has sold 2.7 million units worldwide, becoming the series' best-selling title. It has also been adapted into a two-volume light novel by its original writer, Bingo Morihashi.

State of Decay

State of Decay is an open world zombie survival horror video game for Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade and Microsoft Windows.
State of Decay focuses on survival: stealth, evasion, distractions, base building, survivor community, securing resources, and moving through the world more than actual zombie combat.[4][5] The game is in an open world, where the player's choices are an important factor.[1] Players are able to choose a location to build a base in. Structures such as watch towers, gardens, sleeping quarters, kitchens, workshops, medical bays, and barricades can be constructed to defend against the infected population, help survivors recover faster, and build explosives and other tools.

ShootMania Storm

ShootMania Storm is a first-person shooter video game by Ubisoft and Nadeo.
Just like its sister games TrackMania 2 and the yet-unreleased QuestMania, it will feature 3 different environments, of which two have so far been revealed; a snow-based environment called Cryo, and another called Storm. Storm is set to be released first, with Cryo released approximately a year later.[1]
Nadeo have stated they intend to make ShootMania stand out from other FPS games through design features such as using a rocket launcher-style weapon as the game's primary weapon. Florent (the game's project leader) has stated there will be relatively few different weapons, the idea being to minimize game time spent not in gameplay.
The game still uses the map editor introduced in TrackMania. Character editing is restricted, with only a shield on the player's back customizable.[2][3]
The game was set to be released on 23 January 2013,[4][5] but was delayed to 10 April 2013 with an open beta scheduled to start from 12 February.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is an action role-playing video game developed by the Hungarian independent development studio NeocoreGames.[1] Based on the novel Dracula by Bram Stoker, the game focuses on the trials of young Van Helsing, son of the legendary vampire hunter Abraham Van Helsing from the book.[1] The game is set in a gothic-noir 19th-century Eastern Europe[2] and contains "intentionally anachronistic humor and gadgetry".
The game is based on Bram Stoker's tale of Count Dracula, similar to how the developer's earlier role-playing game King Arthur was based on the tale of King Arthur.[1] The game is not set strictly in the same fictional universe as Bram Stoker's novel Dracula, but rather a similar one in a twisted 19th century Europe with "monsters, magic and weird technology".[3] The game takes place in Borgova, the gothic-noir capital of the fictional kingdom of Borgovia.[4] The city is vast, bolstered by anachronistic science, but also filled with evil creatures that this science has created.[4] The game's protagonist is the son of Abraham Van Helsing, the vampire hunter from the novel, and it is his job to continue in his father's footsteps and exterminate the monsters from the city.

Slender: The Arrival

Slender: The Arrival is a video game developed and published by Blue Isle Studios and distributed by Parsec Productions as the full, fleshed-out version of Slender: The Eight Pages. It was released on Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X on March 26, 2013. Like its predecessor, the game is based on the Something Awful forums' creation, the Slender Man.
The majority of the game takes place in abandoned areas (house, defunct mine, etc.), each with different objectives. Slender: The Arrival uses similar mechanics to its predecessor, The Eight Pages. The character is armed only with a flashlight. This limited defense forces a sense of helplessness, as the best way to survive in the game is to run whenever in danger. The Slender Man's behavior changes slightly between levels. In level one, it is seen at most, once. In level two, it most often teleports off-screen or just out of the character's line of sight, but is capable of appearing directly in front of the player. It is observed that its motion centers around following the player, but consists largely of jumping from place to place, the inconvenience of which is increased as each of the eight pages are collected. Its behavior is much the same as this in level four, except more actively. In level three, it pursues much less aggressively, serving less as the main antagonist of the level and more as a scare tactic, though one capable of teleporting directly in front of the player and ending the game. In this level, the main antagonist is a girl who chases the player (most often following her path directly, but has been seen teleporting. It is unknown whether this is a glitch or an in-game mechanic). The only way of subduing her is by focusing the flashlight (on its second setting) on her. While looking at the Slender Man, the camera succumbs to electronic distortions such as static, blurring, color spots, audio distortion, etc, which obstructs the players vision unless facing away, and far enough from it. When caught, the death screen is also different; while in Slender: The Eight Pages, the player saw a white static background with Slender Man's faceless head, the one for Slender: The Arrival is black, with an overhead-lit and color-distorted hue.[4] There are also new choices in difficulty (which must first be unlocked by completing the game once) being easy, normal, and hardcore. The differences being that hardcore allows the flashlight to run out, enemies are more aggressive and the player's stamina runs out quickly. Easy has infinite flashlight, a great deal of stamina, and the enemies are not very aggressive.
